How to: Style outdoor dining
Here are our favourite tips for making your outdoor dining experience as inviting as possible.
Don't be afraid to add some colour!
The outdoors is a place of visual excitement, so why not match that energy with your tableware?
Here we use our Katto glassware range in shade Amber. You can still keep a chic palette by using a lighter hued plate to contrast against the rich glassware colour choice.
Layer with texture and contrast
This may be the most important tip of all… You want to create a visual feast.
An easy way to introduce “layering” in the dining area is by simply stacking the dinner plates, creating subtle height.
Layering can also be softening up a hard bench seat with a textured throw or fur to make the whole space appear more inviting.
Here we create contrast with the gorgeous centerpiece Mahia Cut Glass Vase and bamboo foliage.
Make a statement with the centrepiece
Don't be afraid to go big when it comes to decorating the middle of the table.
The best way to make a dramatic impact is to play with height.
It’s the most practical way to introduce a statement piece to the table too, so that you can still enjoy one another's company without completely blocking the view across the table.
Perfect entertaining doesn’t have to be a mystery.
By simply adding a few key elements you will have your dream dining set up and be ready to create those extra special memories with your friends and family.
