We are seeing a strong trend towards warmer, soft neutrals in home decor and furniture at the moment. Our Flock Lounger, which has a beautiful textural fabric and natural timbers, is a great example of those tones coming through. Match it with some earthy coloured cushions and a lush, chunky loop carpet. We've chosen Resene Quarter Bison - a versatile colour with a soft touch of beige and hint of green - to complete this look.

Resene Half Rickshaw is a great option for introducing a subtle colour. With the furniture and artwork being the focal points in the room, the subtle pink tones offer a soft neutral background to compliment the warm timbers, tan leathers and contrasting black chairs. Add some greenery and you have a calm relaxing dining space to enjoy with your guests. Malvern Sherwood vinyl from Godfrey Hirst provides a natural oak look to compliment the natural tones of the Axel wool rug.

Make your living room winter-worthy with a cozy day on the sofa with and a cup of tea, and a dose of Resene Half Doeskin or Resene Artisan on your walls. A light grey flooring creates contrast, while a caramel rug has been added to soften the look. With the focal point in the spaces being the sofa- with tan leather and off-white boucle fabric, add cushions and vases in a similar colourway to complete the ultimate tonal sanctuary.

With nature being one of our all-time favourite sources for inspiration, it’s no wonder we are seeing so much timber being incorporated into the interior of our homes. For a fresh new approach, we tried Resene Colourwood Grey wash on Ply - designed to give a grey wash effect. We’ve layered rugs, throws and textured cushions to create the ultimate cozy haven.

People often find dark colours a little intimidating and hard to commit to. The result of decorating with dark colours can add so much positive impact and drama into a space! We kept this room set relatively monotone letting the different shades of green to be the focal point, allowing the light textured fabric sofa to really pop. We paired this with a tonal Tundra Plains wool carpet from Godfrey Hirst and Resene Dune - a dark grey with a hint of ochre.
